Mercy Unlimited, Inc. was founded in 1989 by a small group of Christians who saw the need to help families in the community with food. Since then, we have expanded our services to meet additional needs with God's provision and community support.

Mission Statement: To reflect the love of Christ, by ministering unto those who are hungry, thirsty, homeless, in need of clothing, sick, or imprisoned

Vision Statement: To reflect God’s love through ministering to, providing for, and impacting the lives of those in need.

We operate a choice food pantry where individuals or families can shop for food, health & hygiene items, and cleaning supplies.

Backpack Program

1 in 8 students are at-risk of experiencing food insecurity when school breakfast and lunches are not available.

School Micro Pantries

We supply pantries in the Wapakoneta Elementary, Wapakoneta Middle, Wapakoneta High, Cridersville Elementary. ACE Academy, and Apollo Career Center with ready to eat food, health and hygiene items as well as other requested items the staff see students needing and have no or limited access to.

Senior Food Box Program

We provide food to home bound seniors who have a food need but unable to come to our pantry. Once the food boxes are prepared Auglaize County Council on Aging delivers the food directly to their homes. Findings reveal that 5.5 million seniors (7.1% or 1 in 14) were food insecure in 2021. Jail Ministry

Mercy Unlimited supports chaplain services, Celebrate Recovery programing, as well after care (upon release) to inmates of the Auglaize County Correctional Facility.

Homelesss

Mercy Unlimited helps meet the basic needs (food, clothing) as well as temporary shelter (when funds are available, and help those experiencing homelessness to find permanent housing. If funding is available we can assist with rent, housing deposits, utilities deposit upon securing permanent housing.

Food Pantry

We operate an emergency food pantry that is stocked by donations from individuals, churches, corporations, and grants. We provide Senior Food Boxes that are delivered by the Auglaize County Council on Aging. We also give weekend food backpacks to children in our local area.

Used as a permanent fundraiser, our thrift store provides good used clothing at an extremely reasonable price along with previously owned household items including dishes, jewelry, books, and much much more for deeply discounted cost.
